In a mobile environment, data loss occurs due to WAN network instability, and switching between the best available WAN networks comes with the cost of dead zones during switchovers. Managing power, modem stability, and software stability in a mobile network is difficult, so auto-recovery of failed modem/software components would be optimal.
Vaagan-X1 acts as transparent transport mechanism between the source and destination, providing robust connectivity. IP Packets from the LAN are encrypted, duplicated, and transmitted over multiple WAN links. Duplicate packets are received from WAN, decrypted, and transmitted to the destination. The reverse happens to the received IP response packet, which is sent to the originating LAN device. By duplicating packets, the system avoids dead zones while switching between networks.
